About Dr. Ian Hoffman

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Oswego, Illinois

I’m Dr. Ian Hoffman, a licensed clinical psychologist with fifteen years of experience in the mental health field.

I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology through the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and my background includes work in hospital, private practice, school, and community mental health settings.

My areas of focus include ADHD, autism, learning differences, and emotional well-being. At Harmony Neuropsychology, I provide neuropsychological testing to help adults better understand patterns in cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.

A Thoughtful Approach to Neuropsychological Testing

People come to testing with different questions. Some have suspected ADHD, autism, or a learning difference for years. Others simply know that something hasn’t quite made sense and want a clearer understanding of what may be going on.

I approach assessment with curiosity rather than assumptions. Test results are important, but they’re only one part of the picture. Your history, experiences, strengths, challenges, and the context of your everyday life matter, too.

My role is to bring that information together, explain what we find clearly, and help you understand what it means moving forward.

CONSIDERING AN EVALUATION?

Let’s Start With Your Questions

You don’t need to know exactly what kind of testing you need before reaching out. Tell us a little about what you’re hoping to better understand, and we can determine an appropriate next step.
